Lynwood Christian Academy

Starting Fall 2020
Enrolling Now
For the last 40 years, Cape Christian School has been a shining light in our community, however, in the last few years, without a permanent location, there were questions about what the future looked like. Meanwhile, Lynwood has always been interested in the education and spiritual development of the students in our area. It’s no coincidence that our paths would cross at this pivotal time. With Lynwood’s partnership comes fresh air, fresh momentum, and a chance at a fresh start. That’s why, moving forward, beginning in the fall of 2020, we will be known as Lynwood Christian Academy.

Who we are.
We are a private Christian school, preschool – grade 8, where curiosity and confidence thrive and education is rooted in faith through Jesus Christ.
What we do.
We create a joyful and challenging learning process as disciples of Jesus Christ. Where hands-on projects, engaging discussions, and cross-curriculum studies celebrate the mind, body and spirit.
How we do it.
Class sizes are small to encourage collaborative learning that honors tradition. Inspires excellence. And brings out the best in Christian education.

Our Education

Cape Christian is non-denominational community school in Cape Girardeau recognized by the Missouri and the United States Departments of Education and a member of the Association of Christian Schools International and AdvancED (professional development and STEM certification).
